Our solar panels

Our 52 solar panels were installed in August 2022 after a hugely successful fundraising campaign with Crowdfunder, and a generously sponsored Dragon Boat race at Coniston Hall.

The panels are mounted above the pool hall and collect solar energy which is used to power the pool building. Any excess electricity is returned to the grid for which the pool earns a fee.

Each panel has a max power output of 400W.

An online portal set up by Craven Energies allows real-time monitoring of the performance of the panels.

In our warm summer season 🌞 we hope to be generating lots more energy than in the winter 🥶
