Support and Fundraising for Settle Area Swimming Pool

As a registered charity, the pool is managed by a committee made up of local people who kindly volunteer their time to oversee the running of the facility. Their aims, to provide a safe place for children and adults to learn to swim, to help look after the well-being of our customers and provide a high quality swimming pool for everyone to enjoy. We welcome not just residents of Settle but customers from the surrounding areas and, of course, the many visitors staying here.

As the pool operates as a registered charity, fundraising and donations are vital to our success especially since funding from Craven District Council is due to cease in March 2016, leaving a 30,000 + financial loss.

Business Sponsorship Boards

Launched on Friday 9th of October by our local MP, Julian Smith, the boards provide an excellent advertising opportunity for local business as well as providing financial stability for the pool. If you are interested in purchasing one of these boards, please contact the pool.

A charity run pool for the community

We receive many donations from local people, parish councils and local businesses and wish to say a BIG thank you for their support. Thank you must also go to our sister Charity 'The Friends of Settle Swimming Pool' who work tirelessly throughout the year collecting cardboard and running 'The 200 Club' draws. Their financial support to the pool is vital.

If you have any fundraising ideas we'd love to hear from you.

Thanks goes to the following organisations who have provided vital funding to the pool.
